KING STREET KITCHEN TRANSFORMATION

Massachusetts

The homeowners of the King Street Kitchen transformation project were looking to renovate their first-floor while adding a second-floor master bath and laundry room.

A major goal was to remove multiple interior walls to open the kitchen to a relocated dining area, bringing increased natural light to the entire space.  A new large island centers on the two rooms, with flanking pantries on either side.  Storage was a key focus for the kitchen and newly designed mudroom a. The layout features a walk-in pantry for everyday use and a butler’s pantry that provides dedicated space when entertaining. The finishes create a neutral pallet with white cabinets, light wood tones, and soft blue/green island cabinets.

The King Street Kitchen Transformation enhanced the existing spatial relationships and brought contemporary functionality with a fresh – yet timeless – character.
